Today’s Live Lean transformation is Douglas Bright. Douglas recently switched to a primarily plant based diet and added in some of the L3 home workouts to his exercise routine.
I had the chance to sit down and interview Douglas about his transformation. You can check out the full interview here:
Q: What was your motivation for the transformation?
In 2020, I had multiple people in my life pass away from preventable health conditions and issues. And, with quarantine and COVID, it felt even more important to focus on my health.
Q: What have you changed?
I’ve gone to a primarily plant-based diet, whereas before I was already eating clean, but I was eating meat at least one meal a day, if not every meal. I’ve also started doing some of the Live Lean at home workouts 2 days a week in addition to walking my dog 3 miles a day.

Q: What results have you seen?
I’ve lost inches, gained muscle and I feel more energetic. I have better mental clarity and focus. I also have less food guilt.
Q: What are your future transformation goals?
I want to put on 5-10 lbs of muscle and continue to tone up.

Q: What advice would you give to others who want to get healthy?
Start small, especially with your diet. Try to replace at least one meal a day with a plant-based option. Stay away from fast food and buy groceries that are healthy, because if you don’t have unhealthy options, it is easier to be successful. Drink a ton of water and experiment with different workout routines and recipes. Have a partner that will hold you accountable!
