
Last week I decided to do Day 1 of my Live Lean L3 Fitness Program – the advanced gym edition! I’ve taken off a few weeks to rest, recover and attempt to heal some injuries. I did lower body and I for sure felt it the next day! It’s always hard to bounce back after taking time off, but it’s NEVER too late to start back up again.

Here is a sample of what Day 1 of a Lower Body workout in my advanced program looks like:
- 5 minute warm-up jog
- deep side lunges 10 down and 10 back
- walking lunges w/heavy weights 3 X 10 down and 10 back
- single leg glute bridges on exercise ball 3 X 15 each leg
- hamstring curls on ball 3 X 15
- kettlebell swings (med to heavy weight) 3 X 15
- squats 3 X 15 w/heavy weights
- 1 mile jog cool down
