I still can’t get over the fact that my baby is 9 !!!
After her piano recital, the whole family went out to dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory in Carmel. It was so nice to have everyone together to celebrate Sonoma. She opened her gifts at home and had a great celebration.

On her actual birthday I surprised her and had lunch with her at school.
She wanted to do a painting party with her friends so we had her party at Wine and Canvas (aka Cookies and Canvas for the little ones! )

It was the same spot where Cora had her 6th birthday last year. They really do a great job of putting on a party.

Sonoma only wanted whipped cream on top of her cake or cupcakes and she wanted strawberry flavored cake this year. She was very specific! The girls got a kick of the can of whipped cream!

I knew this was going to happen! Ha! |
Their paintings turned out SO good!!
Sonoma convinced me to do a painting too. And I am SO not artistic. I had a really fun time though! |
After Sonoma’s party, she did a quick change and then it was off to the City of Westfield Daddy-Daughter dance with Marcus!
They had a lovely evening dancing the night away together!
