Happy birthday, Sonoma Danielle! 9. Halfway to launching my first baby into the real world and out of my nest. I’m always so emotional around Sonoma’s birthday. She’s absolutely amazing and has also challenged me in ways I never knew possible. She’s let me test everything out on her and helped me become a better parent. Sonoma is a leader. She’s confident and she’s capable of so much. While we have so many similar characteristics and traits, I actually look up to her in many ways. She’s good at everything she tries!! I can also count on her for so much, no matter the situation. Whether it’s helping out in the kitchen, with assembling something, doing her sisters’ hair, making a craft, cleaning a mess, putting one of her sisters to bed, I could go on and on. She’s strong and smart and a shining light in our family. She pushes me to be a better mom and person. I’m really proud of the little girl Sonoma has become in her 9 years here on this Earth. She’s been through a lot in these 9 years, but because of it all she is strong, resilient and brave. I’ll never forget that moment when the Doctor looked at me and said, “It’s a GIRL!”
I still can’t believe you are 9 years old today. Here is your birthday movie of everything you have been up to this last year of your life:
You overcame a big gymnastics injury and you did it with such grace and determination. I’m so glad you healed and were able to spend the better half of your Summer back to your old self! I love you to outer space and back, Sonoma Danielle!
