Cora woke up and was super excited to go to school on her birthday. Something she has never done before! She requested all lemon everything for her birthday, so she started out the morning with a lemon filled donut.

She was super excited to get a Colts Birthday button from the Colts game last weekend. In fact, she gave it to me to wear on my birthday last week too! |

Presents before school! |
Sonoma had practice on Friday night and did not want to miss, so Marcus, Blakesley, Cora and I went out to dinner ( Cora’s pick! ) at Noble Roman’s – the new Craft Pub and Pizza! Krista and Scarlett met us there! It is such a great restaurant – one of our favorites!

Window for the kids to watch the pizza being made. Just like the old Noble Roman’s! |

I picked up cupcakes at The Flying Cupcake and of course, Cora had a lemon one! |
On Saturday morning we had Cora’s birthday party at Tilly’s Tea Room at Saks Fifth Avenue. When Cora started talking about her birthday ( months ago! ) she had big plans of inviting all of her friends from IL. It was hard explaining to her that those friends were no longer going to be near us, therefore they would not be coming to her party. I wanted to make this one as special as possible for her, and she was so glad that her family and a close friend could come and celebrate!! I told her next birthday she would make new friends and be able to invite more little girls 🙂

Cora picked out her dress, and I must say, she did a fantastic job! It fit her so well and was perfect for the tea party |
Happy Birthday, Cora! I hope it was “the best day ever! “
