My job as a Mom is sometimes so complex and full of little details that no one really knows about except me. When I left for Las Vegas, I wrote out pages of my schedule and all the little things I do as far as packing lunches, homework, snacks, routines, etc. etc. It is a LOT. I just wanted to give a big shout out to Marcus for stepping in a role and taking over my Mommy duties on top of his BUSY full time job! Marcus always does so much to help out around the house and with the girls, but I know that a lot of this was probably a bit much and out of his comfort zone. Cora came home from school on the Friday I was gone and brought Rosie home, the classroom bear. Poor Marcus was responsible for taking Rosie on adventures throughout the weekend, and then making a scrapbook along with printed pictures to turn in on Monday! Not only did he have to do all that while taking care of all the girls, but Cora was also in charge of the classroom estimation jar, a mystery object and family pictures as well! Goodness, it was a LOT. But, he did it and he did a GREAT job. I am so grateful for my husband and this life he has created for us. Thank you, Marcus ! Shout out to you!

Marcus took all three girls by himself to Conner Prairie! Good job, Daddy! He is really embracing being a girl Dad and I love it! |
*One more shout out to Marcus. I hate crafts and projects. I volunteered for the classroom Fall party for Sonoma’s class on Friday. The room Mom called me and asked me to cut blankets for a blanket making project the kids are going to do for Riley hospital. She dropped off fabric for me to cut and Marcus was sweet to take the project on for me. I had appointments all week and a busy week, so he offered to help. He spent 2 hours tonight cutting blankets. Bless his heart.
