This week we celebrated Marcus’ 38th birthday and Father’s Day! It was a busy, but fun week of celebrations!
We went out to dinner at Chiba in Westfield and then had family over for cake at our house.
Marcus and I went out downtown and discovered some new rooftop bars and patios. Always a fun time in Indianapolis! |
The girls checked off another Summer Bucket List item: having a lemonade stand! They set up at our neighborhood pool and sold homemade, fresh-squeezed lemonade and bracelets! It was a success and also the hottest day of the year so far!
Cora was so cute and kept yelling non-stop, “Lemonade, lemonade! Get your fresh squeezed lemonade at the Keeneland Park Pool! ” It definitely helped attract customers!

Working hard! |
For Father’s Day, we went to the new Sports Legends Experience at the Children’s Museum. It was amazing. They had every Indy sport and each experience was the theme of the Indianapolis sports team.
We went to lunch at Public Greens on the Monon Trail in Broadripple after the museum and it was a lovely day. Marcus spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool with Sonoma and Cora.
We had fun celebrating YOU, Marcus! Thanks for being an amazing Dad and leader of our family.
