I recently added a section to Lindy’s List with restaurant reviews that have a selection of vegetarian and vegan options. I get asked all the time about my favorite vegetarian and vegan food in Indy or wherever I travel to, so I figured it would make sense to have all the reviews in one spot!
On Sunday we had a fun day downtown and after an afternoon at the NFL Combine, we decided to try out Baby’s Indy for dinner. I’ve been wanting to try out Baby’s for a long time now, so I was really exited that I was going to try out, and that I also had my daughters with me.
Baby’s is on 22nd and Talbott Street in downtown Indy and owned by the same people who own Ball and Biscuit ( another fave spot! ) on Mass Ave. The Talbott Street area is extremely up and coming and full of life! Baby’s is a fun, colorful restaurant known for burgers and shakes, with LOTS of different Vegan options!
My girls love a good plant-based burger, and were excited to see just how extensive the menu actually was. We ended up ordering: 5 Vegan burgers with a variety of toppings, Vegan chili-cheese fries, Vegan chicken nuggets, Vegan milkshakes and extra fries! Their burgers stood out to me because of their special seasoning that they put in their Impossible Burger patties. They also have the most delicious sauces that you can load up on to dip your fries & nuggets in and put on your burgers.
We haven’t found anywhere around here that has Vegan milkshakes, and so we were extra excited to order those as soon as we got to dinner! (Note to self: order the milkshakes after the kids start eating their food! ). We were so full and had a ton of delicious left-overs! Their Vegan milkshake flavors are seasonal and continue to change.
We sat in the enclosed outdoor patio and it was such a great space! We all loved Baby’s and thought it would be fun for a big group! All of the pink inside is an added bonus and it has such a fun and cute look! We can’t wait to go back. If you’re in the mood for a great Vegan junk food in a fun atmosphere, this is the place to go!
