Cora had the opportunity to read to her Kindergarten Teacher’s classroom!
She has advanced quickly as a reader and is reading at almost a 3rd grade level! |
I spent the morning with Cora at her school for their Native American Pow Wow
Sonoma’s totem pole |
After our trip to French Lick, we went downtown the Touchdown Town before the Colts game. The Budweiser Clydesdales were in town and it was me and the girls’ first time seeing them in person!
They were gorgeous |
The week after Thanksgiving, our beloved Elf, Pizza came back to our house!
The laundry basket was a hit and all the girls filled it up with toys to donate! |
The girls have been learning Christmas songs and we came across some cheat sheets that my Dad had made for me a long time ago. This was real special to find!
We got our PJs on, hit up Starbucks and went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Brickyard Lights! It was our 2nd year in a row doing this and we LOVED it. Can’t wait to go back next year!
Hi, downtown Indy! |
Thank you, Marcus, for getting all of our lights up on our outdoor trees!
Blakesley playing with her lunch at school |
I helped the Level 4 team with their Service Project this year. We made scarves for children at a local Charter School
Cora had her Daisy Christmas party and they made a Gingerbread Farm to enter into a gingerbread making contest! |
And, on November 30th, our dear Pizza burned his leg and caught on fire and his leg fell off. All of this happened in front of the girls and they were absolutely DEVESTATED. It was a horrific thing to witness. They had rough days at school, but were happy to come home and see Pizza wrapped in gauze and bandages along with a brand new Elf which they named Popcorn!! Popcorn was sent from the North Pole to look after Pizza and help him recover. He came with popcorn, a little chair and a TV. He made a bed for Pizza.
1st holiday party of the season!
