November is half-way over, whaaaat??!?! I never posted pictures of the letter Sonoma wrote to the “Switch Witch.” We have never participated in the Switch Witch before, but decided after receiving 20 lbs of candy for Halloween we didn’t want or need, that it was better off going somewhere else! Sonoma wrote this elaborate letter we found next to her bag of candy she set outside her room door a few nights after Halloween. The Switch Witch left $10 bills for each girl. Sonoma used her money to buy a string kit she has been wanting.
It felt good getting rid of our candy. My neighbor took it from me and donated it.
Cora’s Daisy Troop participated in a Road Runner race Derby style! It was so cute seeing them make their own hats for a hat contest! Cora’s Road Runner did not win but she did such a good job!
Sonoma’s 3rd grade had a Veteran’s Day program and we loved watching all of her hard work and practice pay off! She did great and had fun!
These were our close relatives who are/were in the service. I have many other ancestors who fought in different wars, but we only submitted our closest 5 relatives to be recognized.
Sonoma was so proud!
I love my hair stylist, Taylor at Eclectic Beauty! She always does such an amazing job on my hair. She did my hair for back to back events Marcus and I had downtown. I loved it!
It was such an incredible event downtown at the Eiteljorg Museum. I remember my Dad chaperoning my 2nd grade field trip there so that place has special memories for me!
