My Cora B is 7.5!! What a year this has been for her! Cora has grown significantly this past school year. She has become more independent with her school work, grown into an excellent reader, reading above her 2nd grade reading level, and she is starting to write & draw really well too.
I went on a field trip with Cora and her class to the historical Benjamin Harrison house in Indianapolis and I learned so much. My favorite field trip! |
Cora is so silly. She’s the kind of girl that you can ask to tell you a joke on the spot. Her laugh is so contagious.
Cora has loved her Brownie troop. She has been with these girls for the last three years and it has been such a positive experience for her.

Cora has loved her basketball team! That has also been a really great experience!

Cora has a really great ear for music. I was sad she quit piano, but I can see her taking up singing or acting. She is very excited to be enrolled in a theatre camp this Summer. I think it will be perfect for her.
Fun at the Schoo carnival! Cora loved the photo booth and did it over and over with all her friends. |
A pig visited Cora’s class on Valentine’s Day! |
When Marcus & I were on vacation, I enjoyed the numerous texts and pictures that Cora sent me! So many selfies 🙂
Cora is my wild child, a “middle child” to definition. Someone made that term up for a reason!! She tells me all the time when she is old enough she is going to dye her hair purple and black and get an eyebrow piercing. She has experimented a lot with her style lately and I love it. It’s so Cora. She has the biggest heart and is the most empathetic of my kids. Her heart is gold and I love her to pieces!
Sonoma and Cora finished their Christmas gift from Santa- a 6,020 piece, Harry Potter Lego set for ages 16+! It took them almost 3 months but they finished and no, I did not help them. I am SO SO proud of their hard teamwork:
