Sonoma found her inspiration for these cookies from a Tiktok video! She took the original recipe and tweaked it to make these cookies Vegan. I was so proud of her! She did the entire recipe on her own and I just helped supervise. Oh my gosh, these are the best homemade cookies I have ever had. The original recipe called for just 2 cookies, but she decided to make them smaller and make 6 cookies. They were still HUGE and the peanut butter surprise in the middle is so delicious! This was her first time baking on camera, but I thought she did a great job! More to come in the future.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups melted Vegan butter
- 1 cup brown sugar ( we used coconut brown sugar )
- 1/2 cup sugar ( we used palm sugar )
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Flax eggs = 2 tbsp flaxseeds + 6 tbsp water
- 3 cups flour ( we used almond )
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups of chocolate chips or more!
- 2-3 tbsp of peanut butter or more!
Cooking Directions
Mix all ingredients together except your peanut butter. Divide your dough into 6 large cookies. Carefully poke a small hole in the middle of each cookie with a spoon and add peanut butter in the middle, and then press the cookie back together with your hands so you can’t see the peanut butter anymore. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
